Platinum Elegance: A Parti Sapphire Statement

Crafted in platinum, this elegant custom ring featured a 0.60ct oval Parti Sapphire at its centre, surrounded by 14 FG VS round brilliant cut diamonds (0.2ct each). The mix of green and yellow tones in the sapphire created a beautiful contrast against the crisp brilliance of the diamonds.

Finger size L 1/2, this ring was a delicate yet bold choice for a client wanting a modern ring with an organic twist. Perfect for lovers of Australian gemstones, it also serves as a timeless example of how coloured stones can elevate a fine jewellery piece.

Classic Yellow Gold and Diamond Halo

Nothing says elegance like an oval diamond framed by a halo of sparkling diamonds. This custom 18ct yellow gold ring combined traditional design with maximum brilliance.

The warm tone of the gold enhanced the centre stone's fire, while the surrounding diamonds offered the perfect touch of glamour. This design continues to be one of our most requested engagement ring styles, and it's easy to see why: it balances classic proportions with modern-day sparkle.

A Legacy Revived: White Gold Ring Using Supplied Stones

One of our more sentimental projects from 2023 was this 18ct white gold dress ring, made using the client’s own collection of 60 diamonds and one striking red centre stone. We added two 0.08ct round brilliant cut diamonds to complete the outer halo, creating a cohesive, radiant setting.

This piece beautifully showcased how older or inherited stones can be given a new life. The final result was rich in personal meaning — a true legacy piece.

Emerald and Enamel: A Unique Platinum Ring

Combining the vibrancy of a 0.58ct natural emerald cut Emerald with a dramatic halo of black enamel and fine GH SI diamonds, this platinum ring made a bold, modern statement.

Accented by two 0.05ct GH SI princess cut diamonds on the shoulders, the ring blended Art Deco inspiration with contemporary edge. The black enamel detail added a depth of contrast, allowing the central emerald to glow even more vibrantly. It’s a reminder that custom design allows for unexpected, luxurious results.

Green and Blue: A Coordinated Sapphire Engagement and Wedding Set

This matching engagement and wedding ring set was a perfect blend of personal gemstones and Ryley JC craftsmanship. The 18ct yellow gold engagement ring featured the client’s own green sapphire as the centre stone, four claw-set with two 0.06ct GSI1 round brilliant cut diamonds.

The accompanying wedding band was equally meaningful, claw-set with the client's supplied oval blue sapphires. We sourced and matched one additional oval sapphire and two 0.015ct GSI1 round brilliant cut diamonds to complete the seamless set.

The result? A richly coloured, unified pair of rings that speak of legacy, colour harmony, and elegant design.

Bold and Feminine: Pink Sapphire Dress Ring

Few gemstones are as instantly striking as a cushion-cut pink sapphire. This 18ct yellow gold dress ring featured a 1.07ct natural pink sapphire as its centrepiece — bold, bright, and beautifully feminine.

Flanked by two 0.06ct GHSI round brilliant cut diamonds on either side, the design allowed the vivid stone to shine while keeping a refined silhouette. Whether worn as a right-hand ring or statement piece, it showcased the power of colour in fine jewellery.
